My Recent Posts
I have always had a deep passion for writing, from short fiction stories (which I illustrated myself) as a child to research and persuasive papers in high school and my thesis in college.
As a Type-A, driven person, I have always looked for ways to excel, which became difficult once I finished school and had no clear guidelines for life on the other side of my cap and gown.
My first book, Ready, Set…Now What? is the product of my search for identity, passion, and purpose after graduation.
It's my mission to encourage women to live and love their purposeful lives through my work as a writer and coach. I want everyone to know they were created for a purpose, and they can live the lives they've dreamed about!
When I'm not writing, you can find me cooking up some new recipes in the kitchen (inevitably making a huge mess), watching a show on Netflix (lazy Sundays, anyone?), hanging out with my friends or family (they're the best!), or curled up on the couch with a mug of tea (yum!) and a big book (the best way to unwind, hands down).
I regularly write about grace, identity, love, purpose, growth, and life over on my blog at notesfromjessie.com.
Ready, Set…Now What? is my first book, but I plan to write more!
